Dear Ms. Corso,

I attended your program at the Rye Free Reading Room last Thursday night, and I've been extra inspired ever since. I had to let you know the strong impression and inspiration you left with me. Your presentation was much, much more than I expected it to be. You gave us a rich, college class. I wish we could have a series with you, a whole semester! I wish you were my teacher now to advise me through my current novel.

As a sister Italian-American who grew up in Jersey City (blue collar, working family, whose parents are first-generation American), I can't wait to read your work. From hearing you speak, I know I can identify with much of your perspective.
